Job summary

Avetix TIC in Wirral is seeking an Analytical Scientist to join an established pharmaceutical testing team. The role focuses on supporting routine QC testing and analytical method execution in a regulated laboratory environment.

You will perform HPLC, UPLC and GC analyses, maintain records, follow SOPs and collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality results. Recent graduates encouraged to apply; prior GMP exposure is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Analytical Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Practical knowledge or experience of analytical techniques, particularly HPLC, UPLC or GC.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, UPLC and GC.
• Support routine pharmaceutical quality control testing.
• Follow established laboratory procedures and analytical methods.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure testing is completed to the required quality standards.
• Support laboratory investigations and analytical activities as required.
