Job summary

Eurofins is seeking an Analytical Scientist to provide on-site analytical support at the Wirral site, performing method development and proof-of-concept validation for pharma materials. You will manage non-routine analyses, support technology transfers, and maintain documentation in line with client policies.

You should have a Chemistry degree, strong chromatography knowledge, and experience with ELNs/LIMS and MS Office, able to adapt quickly and work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of organic reactions, analytical testing & chromatographic techniques.
• Experience in pharmaceutical development with HPLC/UPLC/GC/MS.
• Experience interpreting raw data and documenting results accurately.
• Able to work with ELNs/LIMS and MS Office; proactive and team-oriented.
• Flexible and able to switch priorities quickly and contribute process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-routine analysis of pharmaceutical materials (API’s) using HPLC, GC and MS.
• Support technology transfers for new/novel substances and ensure smooth implementation.
• Review analytical data for compliance and initiate/follow up on OOS/OOE results.
• Document data per client policies and prepare results for tests you are trained on.
• Maintain productivity via metrics and support audits, method revisions, testing samples.
• Liaise with client representatives and support continuous improvement initiatives.
