Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in analytical method development, preferably 2+ years, or relevant research such as a PhD.
• Strong understanding of protein chemistry and analytical techniques.
• Experience planning and executing analytical method validations or fit-for-purpose studies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise analytical methods supporting biopharmaceutical and vaccine process development, including HPLC, ELISA, UV and CE-SDS techniques.
• Plan, execute and evaluate laboratory studies through hands-on experimentation, using data interpretation to support project decisions.
• Provide analytical expertise across development laboratory and pilot plant projects at Speke and across Elanco's global network.
• Interpret analytical data, identify CQAs, impurities and stability requirements, and translate findings into development strategies.
• Plan and execute analytical method validations and fit-for-purpose studies to meet project requirements.
• Communicate project progress and scientific findings to technical teams and global stakeholders with high-quality documentation.
• Ensure activities comply with safety, quality and Good Research Practice requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and scientific innovation, including collaboration with external organisations and technology transfers.
