Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join our GMP-regulated lab near the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border. You will perform HPLC analyses, develop and validate methods, and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a degree in chemistry or allied field and proven analytical lab experience, with strong problem-solving, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Proven experience in analytical lab environments.
• Strong HPLC experience with validated methods.

Responsibilities

• Carry out HPLC and related analytical testing.
• Perform routine testing per procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Lead method development and validation activities.
• Review data and document results accurately.
• Investigate deviations and support corrective actions.
• Ensure GMP/GLP compliance across activities.
• Manage technical documentation and records.
