Job summary

Nexus Life Sciences is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join a leading UK pharmaceutical manufacturer focused on quality and compliance. You will own analytical method validation and verification using HPLC, UPLC, UV and GC, and support the QC function by monitoring raw materials, components, products and processes through sampling and analysis.

You will design and execute validation/verification protocols and produce clear validation reports with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• BSc in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Forensic Chemistry or Applied Chemistry (or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of GMP, Health & Safety, and COSHH
• Hands-on experience designing and running method validation/verification studies
• Proven experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated laboratory environment
• The ability to take on some light supervisory responsibilities (advantageous)

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll take ownership of analytical method validation and verification using HPLC, UPLC, UV and GC. You’ll support the QC function by monitoring the quality of raw materials, components, products and processes through inspection, sampling and analysis.

You’ll also design and execute validation/verification protocols and produce clear, accurate validation reports with minimal supervision.

What we’re looking for in the Analytical Chemist:

• A BSc in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Forensic Chemistry or Applied Chemistry (or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of GMP, Health & Safety, and COSHH
