Job summary

ALS is seeking an Analyst - Grade 3 for the Inorganics team in the United Kingdom. The role is full-time and permanent, offering 37 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday (14:00–22:00).

You will deliver analytical services, report data, troubleshoot equipment and support investigations while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and Health & Safety. Experience in a laboratory setting is beneficial; GCSEs including science, maths and English are required, with further science education

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including Science, Maths and English.
  • A level or equivalent in a scientific subject is desirable.
  • Previous laboratory experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer requirements.
  • Ensure samples are processed efficiently following procedures.
  • Deliver on key performance indicators.
  • Report analytical data and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Investigate NCW on the QMS and assign priority.
  • Train colleagues to required standards and ensure health and safety compliance.
