Job summary

Verisk Analytics is seeking an experienced Analysis Team Manager to lead the Business Analysis capability for the Whitespace platform. You will shape delivery standards, coach analysts, and partner with Product and Engineering to drive high-quality analysis across initiatives.

You will oversee a team of Lead Business Analysts, ensuring strong collaboration with Platform, QA and Delivery teams while fostering continuous improvement and a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Experience within the London Insurance Market or global (re)insurance industry.
• Knowledge of underwriting, broking or insurance technology platforms.
• Proven people management and coaching experience.
• Extensive experience leading and developing Business Analysis or Product teams.
• Understanding of the Project Life Cycle and Agile development and testing principles.
• Experience allocating work and managing team capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience writing and reviewing high-quality user stories and requirements.
• A solid understanding of software delivery lifecycles.
• Knowledge of JSON documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Lead Business Analysts to deliver across multiple initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Delivery Managers, and Engineering to plan analysis and ensure quality.
• Oversee analysis resource planning and ensure alignment with the roadmap.
• Communicate strategic objectives to the analysis team at all stages.
• Develop frameworks, standards and best practice within the analysis function.
