Practice Plus Group is seeking an Anaesthetic Practitioner for Devizes Surgical Centre in Wiltshire. You will join a high‑performing theatre team to deliver safe perioperative care and support patients through the anaesthetic pathway.

The role requires registration as an Anaesthetic Nurse (NMC) or ODP (HCPC) and a collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary team. On-call duties may be required, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Registered Anaesthetic Nurse (NMC) or ODP (HCPC).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willing to participate in on-call requirements.
• Commitment to patient safety and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care throughout the perioperative pathway.
• Monitor and assess patients during anaesthesia and escalate concerns.
• Support efficient theatre list operations while upholding safety standards.
• Participate in safety checklists, governance activities and audits.
• Supervise juniors and support staff in the theatre environment.
• Maintain equipment and consumables within the anaesthetic department.
• Contribute to service improvement and best practice initiatives.
• Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
