Practice Plus Group is seeking an Anaesthetic Practitioner for Devizes Surgical Centre in Wiltshire. You will join a high‑performing theatre team to deliver safe perioperative care and support patients through the anaesthetic pathway.

The role requires registration as an Anaesthetic Nurse (NMC) or ODP (HCPC) and a collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary team. On-call duties may be required, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Delivering safe, effective and evidence-based patient care throughout the perioperative pathway.
• Monitoring and assessing patients during anaesthetic procedures and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Supporting the efficient running of theatre lists while maintaining exceptional patient safety standards.
• Participating in WHO safer surgery checklists, clinical governance activities and audits.
• Supervising and supporting junior team members, students and support staff.
• Maintaining equipment, consumables and resources within the anaesthetic department.
• Contributing to service improvement initiatives and promoting best practice within the theatre environment
• A Registered Anaesthetic Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC).
• An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
