Practice Plus Group is seeking an Anaesthetic Practitioner for Devizes Surgical Centre, Wiltshire. Full-time, permanent role with a salary of £44,373.07 per year. Join a high-performing theatre team delivering exceptional patient care in a modern surgical environment.

Responsibilities include anaesthetic support across specialties, perioperative care, checklist compliance and supervising junior staff. On-site role with career progression and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Registered Anaesthetic Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC).
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Committed to delivering safe, patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert anaesthetic support across a range of surgical specialties.
• Deliver safe, effective perioperative patient care.
• Monitor and assess patients during anaesthetic procedures and escalate concerns as needed.
• Support efficient running of theatre lists while maintaining patient safety.
• Participate in WHO safer surgery checklists, governance activities and audits.
• Supervise and support junior team members and students.
• Maintain equipment, consumables and resources within the anaesthetic department.
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives and promote best practice.
