Job summary

Confidential is seeking an ambitious Account Manager or sales professional to join our established international business in the United Kingdom. The role starts fully office-based, focusing on product knowledge, customer relationships and growth through proactive sales activity.

You will manage inbound inquiries, generate new business, prepare quotations, maintain CRM records and collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop strategies and support progression into Field Sales or Internal Sales

Qualifications

• Experience in Account Management, Internal Sales or customer-focused roles.
• Ambitious and motivated to advance in sales.
• Confident in building rapport and making calls, including new business development.
• Commercial mindset, proactive and results-driven.
• Organised with ability to balance relationship building, quotations and orders.
• Quick learner who enjoys understanding products and solving customer problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound sales enquiries and generate new business through outbound calling.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify sales opportunities and convert leads into orders.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Maintain customer information, sales pipelines and activity records in the CRM.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and teams to shape sales strategies.
• Follow up on leads and nurture opportunities to increase sales.
• Research potential customers, market trends and competitor activity.
• Provide ongoing customer support in liaison with sales and service teams.
