Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is hiring an ambitious Chef on a full-time basis (37.5 hours/week) to deliver high-quality food across multiple venues. You will lead kitchen teams, influence menus, and ensure exceptional service while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

The role offers progression within a market-leading food service company, with opportunities to develop skills and contribute to innovative food concepts across around 6,000 sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a kitchen team.
• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Food Hygiene certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Listen to customer feedback to improve services.
• Support creation of new menus and creative concepts.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
