Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting an ambitious Chef on a full-time basis contracted to 37.5 hours per week to create high-quality food experiences for clients across our venues in the UK. You will lead food preparation, oversee menu changes, and drive improvements in our food services.

Qualifications

• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Have experience supervising a team.
• Have experience in a similar Chef role.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and concepts.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
