TeacherActive is recruiting an experienced Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant in the Mansfield area. The role is full-time, temporary to permanent, with an immediate start.

You will support students 1:1 and in small groups, helping to manage behaviour, encourage engagement and develop social and emotional skills throughout the school day. The successful candidate will have experience with children/young people in education or care settings, including SEMH or additional needs, and will

Qualifications

• Relevant experience working with children or young people in education, care or support settings.
• Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH or additional needs.
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their goals.
