Are you looking for a full-time Alternative Provision Teacher role with the opportunity to become permanent?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic Alternative Provision in the Mansfield area, supporting with their recruitment for a passionate and experienced Teacher. This setting provides a supportive and nurturing environment for students who may struggle within mainstream education, focusing on building confidence, engagement and positive relationships to help young people achieve their full potential.

The provision is looking to take on a full-time Alternative Provision Teacher on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with an immediate start.

The successful Alternative Provision Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to students across small groups, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs. You will be supporting students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour, creating a positive and structured learning environment while promoting academic progress, confidence and personal development.

The successful Alternative Provision Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Desirable
• Relevant experience teaching children or young people within an educational setting.
• Experience working with students with challenging behaviour, SEMH or additional needs.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their goals.
