Job summary

King's Academy Ringmer in East Sussex is seeking an ambitious, reflective teacher to lead the new Alternative Provision for literacy and numeracy and re-engagement with learning. You will shape the curriculum, lead personal development, and create a calm, highly structured environment where students overcome barriers and thrive.

You will collaborate with colleagues, contribute to enrichment, uphold flagship trust values, and commit to safeguarding and inclusion as part of a growing trust.

Qualifications

• A passionate, reflective teacher with strong subject knowledge and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
• Experience planning and delivering lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities, using assessment to inform teaching.

Responsibilities

• Shape the curriculum and lead personal development within an Alternative Provision.
• Create a calm, highly structured environment where students rebuild confidence and engagement with learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning and contribute to enrichment opportunities.
