Job summary

Oasis Academy Lister Park is seeking an exceptional Alternative Provision Manager to lead our on-site provision and support vulnerable learners to re-engage with education.

You will work with senior leaders, SEND professionals and families to deliver targeted teaching, mentoring and interventions, track progress and drive continuous improvement.

This role offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and direct student support within a supportive, values-driven academy.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) and GCSE Maths/English.
• Experience leading others and supporting vulnerable learners.
• Strong safeguarding, inclusion mindset and high expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Alternative Provision as part of the pastoral team.
• Create an engaging, structured environment to promote attendance and achievement.
• Support students with SEMH and vulnerabilities through bespoke interventions.
• Deliver targeted teaching, mentoring and pastoral support to individuals and small groups.
• Oversee attendance, behaviour, safeguarding and wellbeing records.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, SENDCO, parents and external agencies.
• Monitor progress, evaluate impact, drive continuous improvement.
• Support reintegration pathways and post-16 destinations.
