Job summary

Telford College is seeking sessional staff to join their High Needs team, supporting teaching and learning for students with learning difficulties and additional needs in a modern, high-tech learning environment.

The role involves working with EHCP and Learning Support Coordinators, creating an inclusive learning environment, and helping students reach their potential through flexible, supportive teaching assistance.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy to a good standard (Level 2 preferred).
• Hold a relevant vocational qualification at Level 2/3 or willingness to achieve it.
• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake teaching/learning support programmes with individuals or groups.
• Assist teachers and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.
• Support EHCP review processes with Learning Support Records.
