Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting ALN Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to work across Further Education colleges and Post-16 provisions throughout South Wales. You\'ll support learners to access their education, develop independence and confidence, working alongside lecturers and wider support teams across academic, vocational and practical programmes.

The role offers immediate starts with full-time, part-time and flexible opportunities, plus a £100 Sign-Up Bonus after 20 days

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with ALN, SEN and complex needs.
• FE, college, Post-16 experience desirable.
• EWC registration or willingness to obtain is required.
• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Support learners to access education and develop independence.
• Work with lecturers to enable access to academic, vocational and practical courses.
• Use positive behaviour support and de-escalation strategies.
• Build professional relationships with learners.
• Adapt approach to meet individual learning needs.
