Aspire People are urgently recruiting ALN Teaching Assistants to support Further Education Colleges and Post-16 provisions across South Wales. With immediate vacancies available, we're looking for caring, proactive individuals who are ready to start as soon as possible and help learners build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

These roles offer competitive hourly pay (£16.11–£25 per hour) with a £100 sign-up bonus after 20 days worked.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with ALN/SEN/SEMH and complex needs.
• Ability to work 1:1 or in small groups within FE settings.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with ALN/SEN/SEMH and complex needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Assist lecturers to deliver inclusive learning across academic and vocational settings.
• Promote independence, confidence and practical skills.
• Apply positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.
• Be patient, adaptable and resilient with FE/post-16 experience desirable.
