Job summary

Conwy is seeking a part-time Intervention Co-ordinator to plan and deliver targeted literacy (and possibly numeracy) learning experiences. The role works with the ALN Co-ordination team to support learners with diverse needs across year groups and requires flexible, adaptive support in a dynamic facility.

Experience with learners with special and compensatory needs is ideal. Welsh language ability is desirable. Closing date indicates a mid-September deadline and safeguarding checks are in place.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering learning in literacy or numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver learning experiences in literacy (and possibly numeracy).
• Work under ALNCo guidance to ensure learners make progress.
• Support learners with social, emotional and medical needs within the team.
• Assist with testing and ICT tracking of learning progress.
• Liaise with parents/carers on learner progress.
