Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with ALN provisions and schools across Cardiff to recruit an ALN Learning Support Assistant on a part-time, temporary basis. You will support pupils in small groups and one‑to‑one, including pupils with Autism/ASD, SLD, PMLD, SEMH and ADD.

The successful candidate will have experience in ALN settings, strong behaviour management and a caring, proactive approach. The role offers market-leading pay and a supportive onboarding process via 24/7 consultants.

Qualifications

• Experience in ALN settings or supporting children with additional learning needs.
• Ability to support pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism/ASD or challenging behaviours.
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Caring, nurturing personality with a proactive, adaptable approach.
