Job summary

Jago Consultants in Eastbourne is seeking an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician to join a busy refurbishment team. You will repair scratches, scuffs and dents on alloy wheels, perform spray painting and powder-coating, and refurbish wheels using aqua blasting and related processes. A high standard of workmanship is essential.

Experience in SMART/Alloy Repair or similar Bodyshop work, plus a valid UK driving licence, will help you succeed in this role at our state-of-the-art facility.

• Ability to work to a high standard and meet deadlines.
• Physical and manual dexterity for detailed repair work.
• Valid, clean UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Repair scratches, scuffs and dents on alloy wheels of all makes and models.
• Spray painting and powder-coating all makes/models of alloys.
• Refurbish alloy wheels using aqua blasting, sand blasting and chemical paint stripping.

Alloy Wheel Repair Technician / Wheel Refurbishment Technician

My client is looking for an Alloy Wheel Repair / Wheel Refurbishment Technician to join our busy and experienced refurbishment team. What you’ll be doing

As an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out Alloy wheel repairs to the highest standard. This will include repairs to all makes and models of alloy wheels and a wide array of finishes, damage will include scratches, scuffs, dents. You will prioritise according to business needs and carry out work using cutting edge equipment and techniques and ensuring the process is completed to an exceptional high standard.

Responsibilities

• To repair scratches, scuffs and dents, on alloy wheels of all make model and styles
• Spray painting & Powder-coating all makes and models of Alloys
• To refurbish alloy wheels, by aqua blasting, sand blasting, chemical paint stripping, labelling and alloy identification
• To have the ability to work to a high standard within agreed workshop timeframes

Your experience/skills

• To have experience as a SMART/Alloy Repair Technician or in a similar Bodyshop environment working on vehicle repairs and restoration and have powder-coating and Diamond cut alloy repair experience
• To enjoy exceeding customer expectations and working to a high standard
• To have physical and manual dexterity to undertake detailed repair work
• To have a valid, clean UK Driving Licence and must be eligible to work in the UK
