Job summary

Norton Way Group Accident Repair Centre in Letchworth is seeking an efficient Alloy Wheel Technician for their fast-paced body shop. You will repair and refurbish damaged wheels in line with the manufacturer’s specifications.

Responsibilities include wheel preparation, refurbishment, Diamond Cut tasks, shot blasting, sanding, wheel painting, safe removal and fitting of wheels, plus tyre fitting and balancing. Must have previous wheel refurbishment experience and hold a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in alloy wheel refurbishment.
• Must have previous experience in wheel refurbishment.
• Driving licence required.

My Client is a main car dealership and are looking for an efficient and talented Alloy Wheel Technician to join our fast‑paced body shop based in Letchworth. You will be responsible for repairing and refurbishing damaged wheels in line with the manufacturer’s specification and guidelines.

Key role responsibilities:

• Prepare wheels for refurbishment
• Refurbish damaged wheels in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Previous use of Dimond Cut refurbishment equipment
• Shot blasting
• Sanding of wheels and preparation
• Wheel Painting using modern painting products
• Competent in removing and fitting vehicle wheels, complying with safety standards
• Tyre fitting and wheel balancing

Experience, skills and attributes:

• Must have previous experience
• Driving licence is essential
• Be a team player with flexibility to suit the role and needs of the business
• Punctual with excellent time management
