Octane Recruitment Limited is recruiting for an experienced Alloy Wheel Technician, SMART Repair Technician or Cosmetic Repair Technician in Stoke-on-Trent. The role is based in Stoke-on-Trent with hours Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, no weekend work.

Salary is up to £32,000 basic plus bonus and overtime with an OTE of £38,000. The ideal candidate refurbishes wheels, performs SMART repairs and maintains high-quality finishes while keeping accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an Alloy Wheel Technician or similar in the motor trade.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds Level 3 or ATA qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Refurbish alloy wheels, including kerb damage and cosmetic repairs.
• Prepare wheels by stripping, sanding, filling, masking and priming.
• Carry out SMART repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Complete repairs efficiently with a high-quality finish.
• Maintain accurate job paperwork and repair records.
• Keep tools and work area clean and safe; follow safety standards.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an Alloy Wheel Technician, SMART Repair Technician, Cosmetic Repair Technician or similar within the motor trade
• Experience within a main dealership, independent garage, bodyshop or used vehicle operation
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds Level 3 or ATA qualification is desirable but not essential
• Main dealership experience is desirable but not essential
