Position: Airside Performance Manager

Contract Type: Permanent (Full Time)

Location: London Gatwick Airport

Shift Pattern: Rotational 4 on 4 off (including a combination of day and night shifts)

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an airport. You will be required to undergo a security/background check if you are successful for this position.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Responsible for the control and delivery of the day-to-day operational requirements of the Back of House operation
• Liaising directly with the customer
• Management of departmental budgets
• Delivery of a high-quality and efficient operation
• Responsible for internal and external KPIs, maintaining safety standards and legal compliance
• Provide management information accurately and on time using available IT tools
• Manage and develop the team, taking direct responsibility for the performance of the managers reporting to you

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous aviation experience, preferably at Gatwick Airport (desirable)
• Currently working at a Shift Manager level or above
• Strong IT skills
• Ability to manage HR functions at site level
• Strong people management skills
• Ability to adapt your communication style
• Ability to manage teams through your direct reports, providing timely and effective feedback
• Financially astute
• Full manual driving license

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

• Provide five years of address history

• Obtain a full airside ID
