Position: Airside Performance Manager
Contract Type: Permanent (Full Time)
Location: London Gatwick Airport
Shift Pattern: Rotational 4 on 4 off (including a combination of day and night shifts)

We're seeking an Airside Performance Manager to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving excellent results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Responsible for controlling and delivering the day-to-day operational requirements of the Back of House operation.
• Liaising directly with the customer.
• Managing departmental budgets.
• Ensuring delivery of a high-quality and efficient operation.
• Maintaining safety standards and legal compliance, overseeing internal and external KPIs.
• Providing management information accurately and promptly using available IT tools.
• Managing and developing the team, taking direct responsibility for the performance of reporting managers.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous aviation experience, preferably at Gatwick Airport (desirable).
• Currently working as a Shift Manager or above.
• Strong IT skills.
• Ability to manage HR functions at site level.
• Strong people management skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style.
• Ability to manage teams through direct reports, providing timely and effective feedback.
• Financial acumen.
• Full manual driving license.

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

• Ability to provide five years of address history.
• Ability to provide five years of reference history (employment, education, benefit claims, character references).
• Must obtain a full airside ID.
