Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a hands-on baggage handler to support airside operations in the Greater London area. You will manually or mechanically load and unload baggage, assist with data/documentation, and perform baggage sortation while following safety protocols.

The role requires the ability to work under time pressure, operate at height where needed, provide excellent customer service, and hold a valid driving licence with a traceable 5-year work history.

Role Purpose

Deliver high performance standards around all aspects of airside ground handling and de-icing and, meeting the requirements of our customers and maintaining health and safety and overall good working practices in accordance with company policies and procedures at all times.

What You Will Be Doing

• On-load and off-load baggage manually or mechanically, in accordance with the relevant training received.
• Gather, input and process all data and documentation necessary for the fulfilment of the success of the operation, by manual, automated or computerised systems, including weather reporting.
• Undertake all relevant baggage sortation duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Full De-icing duties as per seasonal requirements.
• Airside Driving.
