Job summary

Menzies Aviation in the UK is seeking a ground operations team member to support de-icing activities at our site. You will help maintain de-icing vehicles and glycol equipment, perform tests, and record results while upholding safety and service standards.

Responsibilities include planning work, ensuring on-time operations, and adapting to rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualifications

• Full and valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for de-icing and ground equipment.
• Willingness to train in radio communications with airport control.
• Able to pass background and drug/alcohol screening.
• Commitment to safety, protocol and team-based operations.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for care and maintenance of de-icing vehicles and glycol station.
• Be responsible for tests and sampling being carried out and recorded.
• Ensure routines and resources are optimised to meet service levels.
• Ensure ground service is performed safely, on time and consistently.
• Plan work to meet resource needs and address equipment or infrastructure issues.
