Job summary

John Menzies Aviation is seeking a reliable Ground Handling agent to deliver high performance standards across airside operations, including baggage on-load/off-load, de-icing duties, and airside driving, in line with customer requirements and company policies.

You will gather data, process documentation, and follow safety rules; a valid driving licence, ability to work under time constraints, good customer service, and a clear 5-year work history are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic safety awareness.
• Ability to work under strict time constraints in a team and follow instructions.
• Ability to work at height and an awareness of potential dangers within the working environment.
• Good customer service skills, and good verbal communication.
• Full and valid driving licence, and a fully checkable 5-year work history.

Responsibilities

• On-load and off-load baggage manually or mechanically, in accordance with the relevant training received.
• Gather, input and process all data and documentation necessary for the fulfilment of the operation, by manual, automated or computerised systems, including weather reporting.
• Undertake all relevant baggage sortation duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Full De-icing duties as per seasonal requirements.
• Airside Driving.
