Job summary

Menzies Aviation in London is seeking a Multiskilled Driving Agent to support de-icing operations during the winter season and to drive Bowser/Hi-Lift during the summer season. You will perform tactile checks on aircraft and handle de-icing fluid applications across wings, fuselage and tail.

Responsibilities include accurate fluid transaction accounting, daily quality checks on equipment, and coordinating with ground crew, flight crew and dispatch via headset/radio to ensure safe, on-time

Qualifications

• Previous experience of cleaning and de-icing procedures is desirable.
• Must have a valid manual Driving Licence.
• Must have experience in driving 7.5 Ton or HGV2.
• Flexible and service minded approach to work.
• Attention to detail and ability to always maintain Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to read, write and understand a good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing tactile checks on all aircraft types.
• Application of deicing fluid to aircraft wings, fuselage, and tail
• Responsible for accurate accounting of de-icing fluid transactions
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment
• Operate headset/radio to provide communication between ground crew, flight crew and dispatch
