Job summary

ABM at Stansted Airport is seeking an Operations Co-ordinator to allocate resources for arriving and departing passengers, using the Inform tool to meet SLA targets and ensure smooth operations.

You will monitor passenger journeys, assist the Duty Manager with staffing, respond to inquiries, liaise with airline staff and handling agents, and brief staff on operational matters. The role follows a 4 on 4 off pattern, 40 hours per week, with pay £16.65–£17.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and influencing skills are essential.
• Management or supervisional experience is required.
• Customer service experience is essential.
• Strong IT and programme operational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources to arrival and departing flight tasks to meet SLA using Inform.
• Monitor and capture information of each passenger’s journey.
• Assist the Duty Manager with staffing levels.
• Keep the Duty Manager informed of delays or problems.
• Collate requests, update Inform, plan and allocate tasks to staff.
• Ensure customer requests are met.
• Receive and respond to telephone enquiries.
• Liaise with airline staff and handling agents.
• Provide detailed reports on accidents and incidents.
• Brief staff on operational matters.
• Identify operational challenges and plan responses.
• Ensure fair allocation of work and timely performance.
