Job summary

ABM is seeking an Operations Manager at Bristol Airport to supervise staff, drive service excellence and deputise for the Senior Operations Manager. You will work with airlines and airport authorities, manage shifts, and ensure equipment and systems function smoothly.

Key duties include SLA compliance, performance reporting with Power BI, and staff development. The role requires DBS clearance, 2+ years of management, and the ability to work 4-on 4-off shifts and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar operations role is desirable.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Must have the right to work in the UK and ability to obtain DBS clearance.
• Must provide 5 years of employment references.
• Must be over 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Airport Authority SLAs are met and service standards maintained.
• Maintain the company image in work, uniform, vehicles and customer interactions.
• Promote service excellence and professional image; champion legendary service.
• Cover additional shifts due to holidays/absences.
• Manage resolutions using ABM software and Power BI; respond to customer issues within timescales.
• Oversee equipment operation and deployment.
