Job summary

dnata Catering UK is seeking a Chef De Partie to join our team at Manchester airport. You will prepare, cook and present dishes and support airline customer service with food presentation and quality standards.

You will work within a busy kitchen, maintaining hygiene, safety and efficiency while delivering meals to schedule for our airline clients. A strong knife skill set and the ability to work in a chilled environment are essential.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 or 2 or NVQ Level 1 or 2.
• Previous catering experience as a Chef.
• Fully knife trained.
• Familiar with authentic, conventional and contemporary ingredients and cuisines.
• Able to work shifts including evenings and weekends; some manual handling.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and have good mobility.
• Able to work in a chilled environment.
• Basic understanding of English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present a range of dishes.
• Contribute to food presentations for airline customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation.
• Promote health and safety practices in daily tasks.
• Work as part of a team in a customer-focused environment.
