Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Food Service Assistant based at City of Derry Airport. You will work as part of a team to provide an efficient, friendly service to customers, assist with food preparation and presentation to high standards, and help maintain hygiene and safety throughout service.

We value customer focus, a positive can-do attitude and flexibility. The role requires the 5-hour weekly pattern with a full Airport Security check, basic statutory training, and completion of Access

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient and friendly service to customers, assisting with all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
• Comply with HACCP regulations as necessary and all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards.
• Maintain a hygienic and tidy environment; ensure tables, accompaniments and counters are kept clean and adequately supplied throughout the service period.
• Check deliveries and food temperatures, completing records and operating the till as required.
• Report defective equipment/utensils/work and floor surfaces or any other Health and Safety issues to your Line Manager.
• A close working relationship with the team is important; communicate effectively at all levels.
