Job summary

Accommodations Plus International (API) is a technology and services company focused on innovating layover operations for airline crews. The Airline Support Specialist will be based on-site at the airline partner’s office, handling hotel and ground transportation reservations and building strong partner relationships.

The role requires a full-time schedule with shifts across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, including extended hours during irregular operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to positively represent API in customer-facing situations.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Airline, hotel, travel, or hospitality industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as API's on-site liaison with the airline partner, providing support, guidance, and training.
• Process client requests received from the airline through the API Operations system. Assess all customer needs and respond promptly.
• Follow up on all client requests and ensure tasks are fully executed and client satisfaction.
• Alert supervisor on items requiring management involvement to solve or avoid challenges.
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve the best outcome for the client and API.
• Resolve client disagreements calmly with fact-based solutions.
• Utilize reservation systems to track and address client needs and expectations.
• Adapt to irregular operations and extend hours as needed.
