THIS ROLE IS A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Our Finance and Treasury teams are detail-focused problem-solvers managing assets worth billions, ensuring continued growth and service excellence.

The Treasury Team manages funding, liquidity, hedging, and financing sources for easyJet. The Aircraft Trading, Leasing & Contracts team sources and manages funding for new aircraft deliveries and oversees over 150 leased aircraft, collaborating closely with Finance, Fleet Planning, Engineering, and Legal.

Your role will focus on maximizing value through detailed assessments of aircraft transactions, financing, and leasing. You will build relationships within the aircraft leasing and financing markets, seek new opportunities, and manage aircraft transactions, lease extensions, and maintenance compensation. Collaboration with internal teams and aircraft data management are key components of the role, which requires adaptability and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.

Opportunities include modernizing data tools, attending aviation events, and exploring career paths within the airline. You will also represent easyJet at industry events and participate in aircraft redeliveries.

Our Head of Aircraft Trading, Leasing & Contracts highlights the role as exciting, fast-paced, and cross-functional, offering exposure to various internal and external stakeholders.

What you need for the role:

• Represent the easyJet brand professionally in meetings with stakeholders, including lessors, investors, and banks.
• Display a friendly, confident demeanor reflecting our Tier 1 airline status.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills; financial transaction experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Interest or understanding of aircraft and engine values, trading markets, and aviation economics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Confidence in negotiations, challenging the status quo, and proposing improvements.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects effectively.
