Job summary

World Fuel Services Europe, Ltd. is seeking an Aircraft Refuelling Operator to join our team at Luton Airport. You will safely handle aviation fuel, perform into-plane refuelling, record movements, and deliver customer service while adhering to SSHE standards.

The role requires a valid LGV Class 1 licence with 2+ years’ experience, fuel tanker experience a plus, and the ability to pass security checks. Expect 24/7 shift adaptability in a fast-paced airport setting.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with 2+ years’ experience.
• Fuel tanker/refuelling experience is advantageous.
• Live within 45 minutes of Luton Airport.
• Able to pass airport security clearance, including criminal record check.
• Flexible approach to hours within a 24 hour shift plan.
• Willingness to cover holidays and sickness with overtime.
• Basic numeracy, English language and IT/data entry skills.
• Strong safety awareness and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, store and transport aviation fuel.
• Conduct into-plane refuelling in line with procedures.
• Accurately record fuel movements and transactions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service as the first point of contact.
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain safety protocols.
• Input operational data into the i6 system and complete daily reconciliations.
• Support vehicle and manpower planning.
• Maintain training and competency in all fuel handling procedures.
