Job summary

World Fuel Services Europe, Ltd. is seeking an Aircraft Refuelling Operator at Luton Airport.

You will safely handle, store and transport aviation fuel, conduct into-plane refuelling, record fuel movements, and provide frontline customer service in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a LGV Class 1 licence with 2+ years' experience, fuel tanker experience, and the ability to pass airport security clearance.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 licence with 2+ years of experience.
• Fuel tanker experience is preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
• Basic numeracy and IT/data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, store, and transport aviation fuel.
• Conduct into-plane refuelling in line with procedures.
• Accurately record fuel movements and transactions.
• Deliver strong customer service as the first point of contact.
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain safety protocols.
• Input operational data into the i6 system and complete daily reconciliations.
• Support vehicle and manpower planning.
• Willingness to cover holidays and sickness with overtime.

Job description

• Accurately record fuel movements and transactions
• Deliver exceptional customer service as the first point of contact
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain safety protocols
• Input operational data into the i6 system and complete daily reconciliations
• Support vehicle and manpower planning
• Maintain training and competency in all fuel handling procedures LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with 2+ years' experience
• Fuel tanker experience (refuelling experience is a strong advantage)
• Live within 45 minutes of Luton Airport
• Able to pass airport security clearance, including a criminal record check
• Flexible approach to working hours within a 24 hour shift plan.
• Willingness to cover holidays and sickness working overtime
• Basic numeracy, English language and IT/data entry skills
• Strong safety awareness and a customer-focused mindset
