Job summary

World Fuel Services in Northolt, UK is seeking an Aircraft Refuelling Operator to ensure the safe, efficient delivery of aviation fuel to aircraft. In this frontline role you’ll follow SSHE standards, complete daily fuel movements, and provide excellent service to airport clients.

You will join a high-performance team, receive full training, and work within a 24-hour shift plan, with flexibility to cover holidays and sickness. A valid LGV Class 1 licence and fuel tanker experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with 2+ years’ experience.
• Fuel tanker/refuelling experience is a strong advantage.
• Live within 45 minutes of Luton Airport.
• Able to pass airport security clearance and criminal record check.
• Flexible approach to working hours within a 24 hour shift plan.
• Willingness to cover holidays and sickness by working overtime.
• Basic numeracy, English language and IT/data entry skills.
• Strong safety awareness and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, store, and transport aviation fuel.
• Conduct into-plane refuelling in line with procedures.
• Accurately record fuel movements and transactions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service as the first point of contact.
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain safety protocols.
• Input operational data into the i6 system and complete daily reconciliations.
• Support vehicle and manpower planning.
• Maintain training and competency in all fuel handling procedures.
