Job summary

World Fuel is seeking an Aviation Refuelling Operator to join our Birmingham team. You will refuel aircraft safely, store and transport aviation fuel, and uphold strict safety and quality standards across a fast-paced airport environment.

You will perform pre-operational checks, record fuel deliveries and stock movements, and support planning to keep aircraft on schedule. Training is provided, with clear career paths in operations and fuel management.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Minimum of 2 years' current LGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform aircraft refuelling activities in accordance with company, airport and regulatory requirements.
• Handle, store and transport aviation fuel while maintaining quality control standards.
• Follow SSHE procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and ensure equipment remains operational and compliant.
• Accurately record fuel deliveries, stock movements and sales transactions.
• Monitor product quality and complete required operational documentation.
• Respond to operational incidents and emergencies per procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service as a point of contact for airline and airport customers.
• Support day-to-day operational planning to ensure aircraft are serviced safely and on time.
• Complete required training and maintain competency standards.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For
