Job summary

British Airways seeks a Maintenance Team Leader to guide 20+ Mechanics and Lead Mechanics in scheduled maintenance, inspections and defect rectification. You will drive safety, quality and efficiency across shifts and coordinate with other departments to achieve targets.

The role requires leadership, strong technical decision making and the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team within a busy aircraft maintenance environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK CAA Pt66 B licence.
• Experience leading teams in aircraft maintenance is essential.
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 20+ Mechanics and Lead Mechanics in scheduled maintenance tasks, inspections and defect rectification.
• Ensure environmental, quality, health and safety, and housekeeping standards are met.
• Coordinate with shift manager and support departments to hit departmental targets.
