British Airways Engineering Gatwick seeks a Maintenance Team Leader (UK CAA B1) to lead a 20+ skilled team in scheduled maintenance, inspections and defect rectification. You’ll ensure safety, quality and environmental standards while coordinating with shifts and other departments to hit targets.

The role requires strong leadership, 3+ years heavy maintenance experience and valid Pt66 B licence. You will work onsite at Gatwick with a focus on continuous improvement and aircraft availability.

Qualifications

• 3 years aircraft heavy maintenance experience.
• Experience leading teams in an aircraft maintenance environment.
• Uk CAA Pt66 B licence is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise 20+ Mechanics and Lead Mechanics on scheduled maintenance, inspections and rectification.
• Ensure environmental, quality, health, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with Shift manager and support departments to meet targets and schedule.
• Organise work schedules and allocate tasks to meet targets.
• Coach and manage performance and development of team members.
