STS Engine Services is seeking an experienced Aircraft Component Mechanic / Certifier for its Stansted, Essex operation. The role focuses on component maintenance, disassembly, inspection, repair, and certification within a Part-145 environment.

You will work on fan cowl hold open rods and contribute to expanding component maintenance capabilities. Strong inspection skills and regulatory knowledge are essential to certify releases to service with defined privileges.

Qualifikationen

• Apprenticeship in aerospace with practical aeronautical experience.
• Ability to interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with Part-145 requirements and regulatory guidance in UK/EASA/FAA contexts.
• Experience certifying maintenance and authorising release to service.
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.

Aufgaben

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble and test aircraft components per approved data and scope.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections with calibrated tools.
• Identify defects, discrepancies and non-conformities and document findings.
• Certify completed maintenance and issue release to service within certification privileges.
• Maintain traceability of components and records throughout maintenance processes.
• Follow MOE, procedures and safety requirements in a Part-145 environment.
