STS Engine Services, based in Stansted, Essex, seeks an experienced Aircraft Component Mechanic / Certifier to join its Part-145 MRO team. The role focuses on component maintenance, inspection and certification while developing additional capabilities.

The successful candidate will have practical component maintenance experience, strong inspection skills and knowledge of approved procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant aerospace apprenticeship or technical training.
• Two years of aeronautical maintenance experience with component work.
• Experience disassembling, inspecting, repairing and testing components.
• Ability to interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs).
• Ability to read technical instructions and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with Part-145 maintenance requirements.
• Knowledge of UK CAA, EASA and FAA regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, reassembly and testing.
• Carry out visual and dimensional inspections with calibrated equipment.
• Document defects and non-conformities; report them appropriately.
• Certify maintenance and issue release to service within certification privileges.
• Complete work cards and inspection documentation accurately.
• Maintain component identification and traceability.
• Interpret CMMs and follow approved maintenance procedures.
• Support development of C7 component maintenance capability.
• Participate in quality audits and workshop improvements.
