Job summary

Metrea seeks a technical specialist to install, configure, and sustain airborne ISR mission systems in our hangar and field environments. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting, field repairs, and software/configuration management to ensure mission readiness for high‑priority operations.

The role requires experience with radar fundamentals, RF test gear, and Windows/Linux administration, with strong problem-solving and communication skills for cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of related work experience.
• Associate’s degree plus 4 years of related work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting airborne ISR mission systems in deployed or field environments.
• Proficient in radar fundamentals and modes of operation.
• Skilled in using RF test equipment and network analyzers.
• Strong understanding of RF signal paths and TCP/IP routing concepts.
• Reading technical schematics and implementing configuration changes.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain airborne ISR mission systems and related equipment.
• Perform pre-mission checks, field troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance.
• Manage Windows and Linux system administration tasks including scripting and patching.
• Use test equipment to isolate faults and validate performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP mission networks and secure links.
• Support integration and validation of new hardware/software packages.
