Qualifications

• Experience in air or ocean exports within freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of export documentation and customs procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay organised and manage several shipments at once.
• Proficient in freight systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Managing air and ocean export shipments from start to finish.
• Making bookings with airlines, shipping lines and transport providers.
• Preparing air waybills, bills of lading and other export documentation.
• Completing customs entries and ensuring shipments meet export requirements.
• Keeping customers updated throughout the shipment process.
• Liaising with overseas agents and resolving delays or operational issues.
• Checking supplier invoices and preparing files for billing.
• Maintaining accurate records within the company’s freight system.
