The Role

Working within the air freight team, you'll help manage pricing enquiries and ensure customers receive accurate, competitive quotations in a timely manner.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling day-to-day air freight pricing enquiries and preparing customer quotations.
• Obtaining and negotiating rates with airlines, overseas agents and other suppliers.
• Supporting the wider team with air freight operational and pricing requirements.
• Reviewing rates to ensure quotations remain competitive and commercially viable.
• Building and maintaining relationships with airlines, agents, customers and internal colleagues.
• Ensuring pricing information is accurate and kept up to date.
• Assisting with customer rate cards and tender submissions where required.
• Working closely with the operations and sales teams to support customer requirements and new business opportunities.
• Providing a responsive, reliable service and helping resolve pricing queries efficiently.

About You

We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of air freight who is keen to contribute to a successful team.

Ideally, you'll have:

• At least 3 years' experience in air freight, within pricing, operations or a combination of both.
• A good understanding of air freight rates, airline services and international air cargo movements.
• Experience obtaining rates and preparing accurate customer quotations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach to problem-solving.
• The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
