Job summary

Detail 2 Limited is seeking an Air Pricing Coordinator to join our freight forwarding team in Feltham. You will manage air freight pricing enquiries, prepare quotations, and support tender submissions to win new business, working with sales, product and operations teams.

You will possess at least 3 years' experience in freight forwarding, with strong knowledge of air freight pricing and operational processes, plus excellent numerical and communication skills to deliver accurate pricing and

Responsibilities

• Manage air freight pricing enquiries from customers and overseas partners
• Prepare competitive spot rates, ad hoc quotations and RFQ pricing
• Support customer tenders and commercial quotations to help secure new business
• Provide pricing support for spot shipments where self-service pricing solutions are not applicable
• Work closely with the National Sales Manager, sales support, product teams and operational colleagues
• Ensure successful quotations and won shipments are handed over to the relevant branches and operations teams
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal network pricing information and rate references
• Communicate pricing updates to relevant teams and ensure rates are maintained across internal systems
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, overseas offices and regional teams
• Support business development activities by helping identify pricing opportunities and maintain competitive rates
• Assist with pricing enquiries relating to other transport modes and areas of the business when required
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, industry regulations and standard operating procedures
• Maintain a professional approach and deliver a high standard of customer service at all times

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international freight forwarding business providing global logistics, freight management and supply chain solutions to customers worldwide.

As an Air Pricing Coordinator, you will support the commercial team by managing air freight pricing enquiries, preparing quotations and tender submissions, and providing competitive rates to customers and overseas partners. Working closely with sales, product and operational teams, you will help secure new business, maintain customer relationships and ensure pricing requests are handled accurately and efficiently.

• Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Air Pricing Coordinator - Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of air freight products, pricing and operational processes
• Experience handling air freight quotations, spot rates and pricing enquiries
• Understanding of business development and commercial objectives within freight forwarding
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Strong IT skills with the ability to use various platforms and software
• Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous, particularly Salesforce
• Customer-focused approach with a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Proactive, flexible and able to work collaboratively across teams and international networks
