My client is looking to appoint an experienced freight forwarding professional with experience dealing with end-to-end air export operations to add to their team based in our London Heathrow offices. With locations across 30 countries worldwide, you will truly be part of a multi-national leading Freight Forwarding organisation.

Air Freight Export Coordinator Job Description:

Primary function to arrange air export movements from start to finish including customs clearances. Responsible for raising HAWBS & MAWBS, quoting jobs and offering pricing solutions, raising alerts, liaising with customers, overseas agents and airlines. Builds strong relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Build relationships with potential and existing customers
• Arrnage air exports for key accounts and ad-hoc customers
• Communicates all aspects of capabilities and service offerings available to the client
• Negotiate directly with air freight carriers to achieve best pricing
• Complete Customs Declarations
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts
• Maintain existing client base and simultaneously prospect for new clients and opportunities when possible
